Passing of Col. (ret’d) Jarrott Holtzhauer, CD

The Friends of the Canadian War Museum has lost a great Friend – Colonel (ret) Jarrott Holtzhauer, CD.

Jarrott was a member of the Friends’ Board of Directors for more than twenty-five years (from 1992 to 2020), and was President of the Friends from 1997 to 2006. Jarrott was one of the original team led by General Paul Manson that raised almost $17 million towards the building of the new Canadian War Museum.

A full article on Jarrott’s career and volunteer work, written by retired Friends Director Allan Bacon, is available on page 7 of the August 2019 issue of The Torch.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Jarrott’s family, and to his many friends and colleagues.
